All over the 19° century, companies had been moving from a small-scale production process towards an industrial one thanks to large industry progresses. It is more and more difficult for a Worker to master each step of completion linked to Manufacturing.
  • 1938 : birth of BTE (Bureau des Temps Elementaires), an Association belonging to CNOF (Comité National de l'Organisation Française). The objective is to implement the Scientific Organisation of Work.
  • 1942 : BTE is becoming independant from CNOF. Legal status is becoming a State Approved Association (1901 French Law).
    • Since its creation lounched by large industrial companies, BTE is settled as a leader in the areas of Work Surveys, integrating basics of MTM and Besaux Systems.
    • BTE treats Time Analysis in a Global Approach of the Scientific Organsation of Tasks. It concentrates activities in R&D, Trainings, and Documentation on Time Measurement, Industrial Engineering and Production Control.
  • 1996 : birth of IME (Industrial Management Expertise) by Jean- Luc Subra, a Consulting and Training Company specialized in the Manufacturing Processes.
  • 1997 : BTE trademark is bought by Jean-Luc Subra.
  • 2000 : birth of LME (Logistics Management Expertise) by Jean-Claude Simonet and Jean-Luc Subra, a Consulting and Training Company dedicated to Supply Chain Chain Mangement and Process Reengineering.
  • 2003 : merge of IME and LME in a new Engineering, Consulting and Training Company renamed BTE (Bureau Transfert Expertise). The new Company is managed by Jean-Claude Simonet and Jean-Luc Subra.
  • 2007 :
    • creation of BTE Espanã, in Sevilla.
    • BTE is certified ISO 9001 : V2000 (december)
